Hi

just for information :
here are compared memory usage with blank text
(shown by ps aux under linux32, units are KiB)
   =========================================================
                      OpenOffice.org3  |    OOo4Kids1.0
   =========================================================
                      VSZ        RSS   |    VSZ      RSS
   =========================================================
   program/soffice |   3832     1236   |    3836    1240
   soffice.bin     | 201400    75784   |  135256   42528
   =========================================================

In fact, OOo4Kids runs easily with  256 + 128 =  384 MiB Ram
Enough for someone to work on a single page text.
But if you try to deal with draw, amount of used memory will increase
and you'll have to wait more than 10 s.
10 s is really a limit for someone who wants to work efficiently.
More is too much.

When I work with OOo4Kids on 1 page draw (with 1 object) and simultaneously 1
page text, 512 MiB RAM is a minimum to be realistic (Processor : at least 800
MHz) and stay under 10s.

Hope this helps.
