Dear Sir/Madam,
I used an older version of Open Office for my work. My computer was reformatted
and I had to reinstall it. I downloaded your latest version but could not open
my work with it. I could not find any older versions to download. Can you
please tell me where I can download older versions of Openoffice.
Thank you for your help.

You should be able to open any files you have without requiring any previous version of OOo.
Possibly what's happened is that the "file associations" no longer point to OpenOffice.org as the
application to use for the filetypes you are having problems with. In that case, you should be able
to right-click on such a file, select Open With, and browse to the appropriate application (such as
swriter.exe for files of type .odt). Select the option to always use this program for this filetype.
You then should only have to do this once for each type of file you want OOo to open.
If that doesn't work, we'll need more information, such as what operating system and version you are
using, what filetypes you can't open, how you are trying to open them, and any error messages you get.
By the way, please keep all the discussion on the [email protected] list, so others can help as
needed.
