The description of my problem is as follows:

When I open the document files, "ASC II Filter Options" pops up and tells me to
choose the appropriate character set, default font, language, and paragraph
break.

However, whatever options I choose, the content of the document gets lost and
appears as below:

"
PsFh##Ð###³]}}dT###10-76045310##################################################################################################################################################################################Ûa5NOË#Պì5F6Ë"

I do not believe that there is a problem with the document files themselves
because they worked properly before I formatted my computer.

I would appreciate if you could explain to me what I can do to fix the problem.

Thank you very much.
