The description of my problem is as follows:
When I open the document files, "ASC II Filter Options" pops up and tells me to choose the appropriate character set, default font, language, and paragraph break. However, whatever options I choose, the content of the document gets lost and appears as below: " PsFh##Ð###³]}}dT###10-76045310##################################################################################################################################################################################Ûa5NOË#Õì5F6Ë" I do not believe that there is a problem with the document files themselves because they worked properly before I formatted my computer. I would appreciate if you could explain to me what I can do to fix the problem. Thank you very much. > Date: Thu, 9 Sep 2010 22:20:48 -0400 > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected]; [email protected] > Subject: Re: [users] Robert Hurly > > robert hurly wrote: > > Dear Sir/Madam, > > > > > > > > I used an older version of Open Office for my work.
