WHAT system won't let you unsubscribe? If you speak of "one list", it sounds like you haven't been able to unsubscribe from several lists. If you send your unsubscribe requests in the manner prescribed by the particular list, it has to work. For example, just writing "Unsub" in the subject line is bound NOT to work.
