Also perhaps look at 'PDFCreator' - it's a fake printer driver for windows (which I assume you're using), mainly for producing PDFs (not needed by OOo), but will also convert to your choice of image output, using the 'print' option on any(??) application. It can take a bit of fiddling to get the parameters right, but it does work quite well when you're used to it.
