This seems to happen whenever a new version comes out in some languages
before others. For me, the "Download" button tries to download the UK
English (en-GB) version 3.3.0, which doesn't appear to exist yet (and
leads to a "File not found" page). Click "Get all platforms and
languages, non-JRE versions, language packs" just below that, and you
can choose the 3.2.1 en-GB version, or 3.3.0 en-US (American English)
version, or whatever language and version is relevant for you.

OpenOffice.org (available from http://www.openoffice.org/ is still
open source, but is now mainly sponsored by Oracle rather than Sun.
LibreOffice is a fork of OpenOffice.org created by The Document
Foundation. It's probably quite similar at the moment (haven't tried it
myself), as it was only recently forked from the OpenOffice.org code,
but may develop differently over time. LibreOffice is available from
http://www.libreoffice.org/

Mark.
