I have created and numerically matched a host of special colours in Oo. I also use them in LibreOffice and on multiple machines and on both XP and 2 Fedora (Linux) platforms.
There is a colour palette file that you need to enhance, back up and save in a particular way. The same also applies for both Gradients and Hatches, however you will need to have created and installed all the custom colours you will need, directly or indirectly first, since these are your colours for all Oo applications and for use in creating hatches and gradients.
