Dear Eustace:

The Colour palette file is part of the Oo Installation (likewise for the
Gradients and hatches.

Colour file : .soc
Gradients: .sog
Hatches: .soh

These are buried in the Oo installation.

2 choices:

1) You can edit the existing default.soc by:

- Open an Oo draw file
- Draw a rectangle
- Select the fill as a colour
- When selecting the colour, click the colours tab, then use the
resulting window to edit the file.

- Then save it so it will overwrite the existing file. To back it up,
you can save that file multiple times in multiple places using normal
navigation within the save option.

- You can also load such a file from any navigable location in a
comparable manner.

I am attaching my current version of the .SOC file. You can then load it
into your system this way, then use the rectangle in that experimental Oo
draw file to see what the colours look like in areas larger than that
provided in the palette swatches window.

You can also save it as your default, and subsequently modify it further as
needed.

Best regards,

Bruce M.

Yes, the issue of moving the color scheme to another machine is another
important one, but not of the present moment for me.

So far I am satisfied with the variety of the colors that are provided,
and I change only those that are most necessary.

OK, this was not one of my 2 questions, but where can I find information
about this color palette file?
