Yes, the issue of moving the color scheme to another machine is another important one, but not of the present moment for me.

So far I am satisfied with the variety of the colors that are provided, and I change only those that are most necessary.

There is a colour palette file that you need to enhance, back up and save in
a particular way.

OK, this was not one of my 2 questions, but where can I find information about this color palette file?

The same also applies for both Gradients and Hatches, however you will need
to have created and installed all the custom colours you will need, directly
or indirectly first, since these are your colours for all Oo applications
and for use in creating hatches and gradients.

Colourful cheers from Canada all!

Still waiting for answers to my questions,

Subject: [users] Colors in Options

2 questions on colors:

(1) In the Options> OpenOffice.org> Appearance> Custom colors, some
elements have a check box in front and other do not have one. What's the
difference? Does unchecking an element that you have changed makes the
color setting automatic? In that case, if an element is set to
automatic, it shouldn't matter if the checkbox is checked or not, right?

(2) Since I use white on blue color scheme in my system, the title lines
in the same dialog (eg. General, Text Document, HTML Document) have a
gray background (132, 132, 132) which makes the white text difficult to
read. What is the element that I should change to make the title line
background darker?

Thanks,

Eustace
