I'm under the impression that OOo is quite slow loading a spreadsheet:
for a 34 cols and 70 rows file it takes between 45 ./. 60 seconds to
open (about 40 sec for 'loading doc', the rest for 'calculating' and
'adjusting row/col width'.
To a certain extend this may depend from the modest CPU clock speed of
my desktop (434 MHz), although it went much quicker with Lotus
Millennium under win$, AFAICR ...;(
Wondering if there are any tips&tricks to better things.
