So far, I've found the following unfavorable things about RC-1. 1) It WON'T see my configured (3) printer definitions....only 1. But, at least I was able to setup a new printer simply using KPrinter as the default, thus giving me ALL definitions.
2) RC-1 is VERY slow compared to the last beta.....NOT good!! And, I have a P-4 3.2Ghz box, with 200G SATA drive, 800Mhz. FSB, and 1G RAM, so it's NOT the 'puter. Also, SUSE Linux 9.3 pro. 3) It won't display colored text properly........shows as black. 4) It won't save in the open format. It is usable, for those who know how to get around a few oddities, but it "ain't ready for prime time!" Fred -- Planet Earth - a subsidiary of Microsoft. We have no bugs in our software, Never!
