Hi Kirsten,
No one is returning your mail. You're posting a message to a
mailing list. Everyone who subscribes to the list gets every
posting and every answer. Some one who posts a question, but
is not subscribed gets an automatic reply to their post with
instructions at the bottom on how to subscribe. If you're
not subscribed, you may not see all the answers to your
question as answer will go to the mailing list. If the
person answering is aware that you're not subscribed (as I
am) he may send a copy directly to you as well as to the
list (as I'm doing).
Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your original
question. Some print drivers will take a file set up on
letter size paper and reduce them to print two pages on each
sheet, re-ordering them to give you a booklet.

I have just started using NeoOfficeJ to write a small handbook for a
college. I want the handbook to be in A5 format, and I also want to
be able to print 2 pages per A4. The only way I can work out how to
do so, is to work in A4 landscape with 2 columns, each representing a
