Just started using OpenOffice after years on MS Word. There are some things I am used to doing that I haven't been able to find in Open Office.
I'd like to tell OpenOfficeWriter to use my preferred date format as the default, rather than have to select it from the list every time. I'd like to be able to define key combinations for certain characters that I use that are not directly acccesible from the keyboard (e.g., em-dash, French left and right quotes with their non-breaking spaces).
