Excellent but are you aware that OOo is free for the download? See the
main webpage or http://download.openoffice.org/index.html for details so
you can always get the latest stable and developmental versions.

As to your problem, I will guess that you have Windows XP or similiar.
If I am right then your administrator needs to allow you write
privileges in what I will call your home directory which is different
from My Documents. This directory can likely be found under C;|Documents
and Settings/ and there may be two places that need fixing: one your
applications directory and/or your personal openoffice.org instance. You
can likely use Windows Explorer to search for OpenOffice.

Hope this helps and if I have been a bit vague it is because I have no
windows box and have written all this from memory.
