Where the heck is real distro for 2.0 beta that runs installer and
installs where I told it to, not that RPM stuff?!
Like a tgz or a deb or compile from source ?
A .tgz that has a proper installer inside. The way version 1.1 is packaged:

What platform are you using ?
Redhat 9.
I sure hope the RPM distro is not what it is going to be eventually.
I need it to install where I want it go ($HOME), not all over the place.
Also it needs to install not as root.
