First m109 is quite old and that may be part of your problem. Currently
beta2 is m125 so you can see your copy is really dated. Please consider
replacing your copy of m109

The other thing is what are your settings in Tools > Options >
OpenOffice.org > Security and which JRE do you have installed?

Sign 'em?  Digitally signing those docs ought to help and I added a bit
to the 2.0 user guide that may be useful with signing. Somewhere around
page 390.

Signing should help with this in addition to password protection.

Crackers for MSO are freely available but there are none for OOo.
