I had a copy of Open Office I downloaded a couple of years ago. We
recently
upgraded our computer, and the idiot who formatted the new hard

not transfer our personal files. We were able to recover them with
some
special software, but now nothing opens. Open Office is also shown as
folder, but I cannot get it to open either.
My question is, if I download a newer version of OO now, will I be
able to
open these files that were created on an older version? The file
extension
on these is sxw. Thank you for any help you can give.
