Wow! I just changed the word wrap from 70chars to 120chars..(thought
it would take up less desktop for yous guys  '-) now back to 70....

Now to your suggestion...
the  'default Save folder' is set to the generic .../my documents/
(also there is NO allowance for multiple selections).
I want 'many' default folders for each different type of file
(recipe,betsys,gregs,OOo,data,pgms,etc).
I want to make templates for each type of format & put them in the
'proper' folder. Then click on it's desktop icon to open it.
I then want to rename it & saveas to the SAME sub-dir.
When I do this the program goes to the generic .../my documents/
& I have to work thru folders to GET BACK to the sub-dir I was JUST
at....
(Other programs (Photoshop,Works,Notepad,etc) do this OK
