I don't know if it is in help.  But I have been doing Microsoft User Support 
for years and an Office Binder Template is one of those things that I have 
run across before.

If you do a google search on ".obt" and "file extension" I bet you'll find 
more info. ;-)

Does this fit the description of the .obt files that YOU are trying to open?  
If the information isn't sensetive, you could send me a copy of one of 
your .obt files and I can have a loot to confirm what it is -and is not.
