I have WP vs 8.0.0.225 When I drop down the file type,
on the type of file to open, at the top is "text files
.txt" and at the bottom is "all files *.*"  There is
no side scroll bar to select more files and all the
file types between .txt and *.* are all Word Perfect
type files.  There is no option to open any type of
Microsoft files. When I attempt to open a .doc file, I
do not get a "file not found" error, I get an
"unsupported format" error dialogue box. In other
words, I have to install a patch to upgrade it? O.K.
