I have WP vs 8.0.0.225 When I drop down the file type, on the type of file to open, at the top is "text files .txt" and at the bottom is "all files *.*" There is no side scroll bar to select more files and all the file types between .txt and *.* are all Word Perfect type files. There is no option to open any type of Microsoft files. When I attempt to open a .doc file, I do not get a "file not found" error, I get an "unsupported format" error dialogue box. In other words, I have to install a patch to upgrade it? O.K.
