If you are going to send an OOo document out as an attachment, you
need to change its file type. (I am assuming Home Office is
OpenOffice.org with the name changed and some additional files on the
CD.)
To change the file type, open the document in OOo. Then use Save As
(File > Save As). In the File type list, change it to MS Office Word
97/2000/XP .doc. Click Save. In the top left corner of the OOo the
extension of the file should change to .doc.
When sending the document as an email attachment, make sure you
send the one with the .doc extension.
