If CTRL+A is only selecting text within the table if that is the case if the same thing if we do in word it is working ..... Then It should not work there ....
But when we do the same thing in other wordprocess like ms-word there it is working fine..... It is a feature of the keyboard and not of the word-processor. You will find this to be true in using most word-processors.
