I use 2.0 RC2 on Linux from the OOo web site. As the OP, I created
a table, inserted text in one cell, entered some text under the table,
and created a second table under the text. Crtl+A multiple times only
selected the top table: all cells.
I have a chapter for the Getting Started Guide to finish today, so
I will not have time to file and issue until early next week.
