*WHAT?* If by "any office application" you mean OpenOffice.org - StarOffice
and KOffice - then sure.

Can we *PLEASE* be a little HONEST here?

This announcement is A) full of misleading statements - and B) more about
the danged format that the program.

How about you announce OpenOffice.org and not OpenDocument.
