you can always use alien, to convert rpm-files into deb-files. I have
heard from different persons, that this will work for every debian-based
distribution. :)

And additionally, there's the possibility, to wait a couple of hours,
and you find deb-packages in the debian repositories. (I really know,
that René Engelhard, the debian-maintainer for OOo, had committed
OOo-packages to 'unstable' - I guess. I'm not sure about this, because
I'm using a rpm-based distro.)

So, where's your problem?
