        Thanks for this.  I wouldn't have figured out all of this myself,
particularly the last two commands.  I'll give it a shot.  I'm running
Debian Sid, upgraded to Experimental, and no, it doesn't have 2.0 available
yet.

        The problem is that the script you gave us isn't in the official
installation instructions, and that's a showstopper to anyone other than a
real expert.  If the project can be talked into just including that in the
written instructions, and nothing more, it will be enough to make all the
difference to those of us who use Debian-derived distros.
