During install you are ASKED if you want to associate Openoffice.org 2.0
with MS word, excel and powerpoint files. This is set to yes by
default, are you sure powerpoint is actually gone or has the file
assocation chaged, in which case run set up again and uncheck the boxes,
or as the issue of file associations keeps cropping up there is a fix
somewhere.
Can you still load powerpoint from windows, ?
