Hi Chad, Thanks for your help, but I still need to know how to read ODT documents inside Internet Explorer in Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (as I did when I had Windows XP Service Pack 1). I work in a large organization where the transition from Internet Explorer to Firefox hasn't yet been decided. Manuel Carrusca

I'm sorry it doesn't open in IE, but at least you can see it in Firefox. I have already tried to open ODT files in Firefox and there are no problems. I didn't know this was possible at all. In fact, aren't there projects out there specifically to allow ODF files to be displayed in browsers? Either way, I doubt that reinstalling OOo will help, since it's IE that having the problems, not OOo. Try opening it in Firefox and see what happens. http://www.getfirefox.com/ -- - Chad Smith http://www.gimpshop.net/ Because everyone loves free software! -- - Chad Smith http://www.gimpshop.net/ Because everyone loves free software!
