My last posting was not correct. I actually get exactly the same behaviour with O0o2.0, ie I do get the Document Recovery window appearing when I launch Writer (it didn't first time I launched it after install, but during that first time I tried to load the offending document, and so had to force a close application with Alt-F4, and when I launched it 2nd time, I did get the Document Recovery window appearing). And when I selected "Start recovery", I got exactly the same behaviour as with 1.9.100.

I'm now in the process of raising the issue and attaching the document. Just waiting for my registration password to arrive.

OOo2.0Final has been released with many bug fixes from 1.9m100. Please
upgrade soonest.

Cannot be certain but I'll bet that by removing 1.9m100 and replacing it
with 2.0 you will find that the problem no longer exists.
