Dear all,
Here's what happened:
I opened an html file in Writer, then hit the PDF button. Writer nicely
exported the file in PDF format to my Windows XP desktop but messed up
something with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Now when I try to open a PDF file in Acrobat it sends me this error message:
There was an error while loading the plug-in ETpdfSec.api. The plug-in
failed to initialize.
The instruction at "0x2d828acd" referenced memory at "0x00000008". The
memory could not be "read".
I uninstalled and re-installed Acrobat without a glitch but the problem
persist. Re-installing Windows XP is not an option right now and I can't
live without Acrobat Reader. If you know anything about ETpdfSec.api or
how Writer could cause damage to it, please advise.
