There has been an issue that has bugged me since a first started using
OO some years ago.
Inserting OO Drawings inside an OO Document is still troublesome. I
find this strange since they are created from the same software package.
Prior to Version 2.0:
1.Embedding a drawing via the menus necessitates the drawing to be added
as an OLE object. (Isn't OLE an Microsoft invention ?). What is wrong
with adding an OO Drawing item on the menu?
2 Even when the page sizes an margins had been careful set to be
equivalent between OO Write and Drawing, inserting via menus or using
the CTRL C / CRTL V combination always distorted the drawing. i.e. the
size was incorrect, the aspect ratio had been changed.
With Version 2.0:
Still the same problems with a added feature. Copying and Pasting from
an OO drawing to a Document using CTRL C/ CTRL V removes all the text
formatting from the drawing and changes it into Times New Roman.
Sadly this functionality has not improved with the new version.
