[users] Possible bug with OOo 2.0.1?

I'm up and running 2.0.1, on Windows XP.
 
On thing that I've experienced is that the View > Nonprinting Characters  
does not seem to work. When I do this, either through the menu or by using the  
toolbar icon, nothing happens. Nonprinting characters are not displayed.
 
When I noticed this, I uninstalled 2.0.1, re-downloaded it, and  re-installed 
it, but I'm still seeing the same behavior.
 
Can anyone atempt to verify?
