I have Windows 98SE on an AMD/ASUS motherboard with ATI 8500LE video 
card.  I do not network except to connect to Internet thru a phone 
modem.  I use the "MS Family Login" instead of MS Client.

I  do NOT know how to deal with "Administrator Rights".  I fear my 
registry has been modified after loading OO to prevent other third party 
software from loading properly.  I had to make new shortcuts to activate 
the OpenOffice software.  (I do not seem to have any OO uninstall 
features in programs or  in Control Panel).

*How do I get OO software to recognize me as a Wondows 98SE 
"Administrtor" and how do I modify or replace existing shortcuts that 
have target, etc. "grayed out"?
