Dave, thanks for your reply.  It worked.
   
  However I came across another problem (which I did not find under the FAQ 
section).
   
  When sending an "odt." file to my Email account I can open it. When 
forwarding this document to another user he/she cannot open it.
   
  And why does spelling and grammer not work?  For example, I did some 
corrections in my resume, used spelling and grammar but, for example, the 
system does not accept various company names and my email address (these items 
are "underlined").
   
  Again, any help is appreciated.

I am assuming you have opened your resume doc in OOo (OpenOffice.org).
Does the frame you see also show when you print the document? If not,
then the "frame" you describe is just a simple on screen guide for your
margin positions. This can be turned off by unchecking "Menu -> View ->
Text Boundaries".
