Can my Access files be converted/opened in Open Office Base?
I haven't had any luck doing that so far. All I get is a few
lines of ASCII....
Any and all advice is welcomed.
If you are using OOo2.0. you should be able to do this using the
Database Wizard.
To start the Wizard, click File > New > Database.
On the first page of the Wizard, choose "Connect to an existing
database" and choose "Microsoft Access" from the list (scroll up
in the list to see it).
On the next page of the Wizard, browse for the location of the
MSAccess file, then continue as instructed by the wizard.
At the end you should have a table that looks much like an
MSAccess database table, and you should be able to edit it.
