We need information about OpenOffice and OpenOffice's API. I am here with
enclosing few details about the project and expected output. Can we handle
this senario using OpenOffice's API? If yes, is it possible to send the
details? Can I map the xml file as a datasource instead of Database in
OpenOffice.Writter?
Background about Project:-
Basically project is aim to transform the .RTF template to .PDF format.
During the transformation phase, data should be read from .xml file and post
those data in final .PDF document
Input
* We have the .RTF file which has got common templates and we also
have the .xml data.
Example: - CHANGE_ORDER_REQS.rtf (RTF
document with template)
CHANGE_ORDER_REQS.xml
(Corresponding Data for the Template)
Expected Output
* .RTF file should be transformed to .PDF format with the xml data
filed in the templates.
* (.RTF [Template] + .XML [Data] => .PDF [Data in place holder])
Example: - CHANGE_ORDER_REQS.rtf +
CHANGE_ORDER_REQS.xml => CHANGE_ORDER_REQS.PDF
If you could send more details about OpenOffice about data mapping from XML
to RTF template will help us to evaluate your product and make the decision
to go with your product.
