Didn't find anything useful in Help.
Export as PDF is the only way I know. However, digital signing might
offer a way to protect the document in a way that is not too intrusive.
Help > Contents > Index > Search term > signing documents;digital
signatures gives some information as does the 2.0 User Guide Chapter 9
about page 388 or so.
