The switch has _no_ influence, only the filter (original or 
downloaded) determines whether there are linebreaks. I wonder what 
the switch is good for.

No, sorry, I have no experience. I'm evaluating DocBook, I'm a 
DocBook newbie.

I expected OpenOffice to be a painless way to edit DocBook, but it 
was the hardest.

Certainly I used this dialog - is there another way to set filters?
