I know this might be too much to aks of the folks who already work
very had developing this program. but given the number of questions,
and the quantity of verbage that you have to wade through to install
any program, I don't think it is much of a shock that folks don't
read (or don't understand) directions.
When you install a second web browser or email program on a Windows
PC, you get a message that "this is not you default program" and
options to change the default or never see the message again. I use
the feature alot when weaning folks from IE and OE and they seem to
respond well to having the control and the security of being able to
switch back to the familiar at any time.
Failing that, maybe the install could actually convert the files and
uninstall MS office :)
