You should download the newest version 2.0.1, which includes some bugfixes for the 2.0. You can send files via email to other people and they can open it - when you saved these files in the Microsoft-Office format. You can choose for each file in which format you'll safe it. Microsoft office cannot open a odt or ods-file, but OOo can safe files in .doc or .xls format. ;) Hope, this helps.
