There seems to be a problem with v.2.0.2, and 2.0 before. I have created
extensive calendars in Calc, a holdover from my Lotus days. I will enter,
e.g., the dates for an exhibition. I copy the last day of the exhibition in
the appropriate calendar date cell and highlight just this final date
information in read. Worked fine from StarOffice 5.2 (the last free one)
right until OO 1.x.x

No longer. From v.2.x.x on the info stays as black as it can be. I tried
about every setting. In Tools > Option, in Format Cells, you name it. I
cannot even colour the entire cell. However, when the cell is in EDIT mode,
the colour shows up alright! As soon as I hit enter, all goes dark again...

I was going to inquire earlier, but when the word got out that 2.0.2 is out
"soon", I waited until today. No luck with this version either. If anyone
could perhaps point me to the right direction, I will be too pleased to find
it myself.

This is the text in the cell, or the background colour of the cell? I don't have any difficulty changing the text colour (or the background colour, or both at the same time) and have the colours show, in OOo 2.0.2 on WinXP.

What OS are you using? Sounds like it might be a problem with your setup, though I can't imagine what or why.
