Unforch, all I can get is a message after a while that it appears I am
not connected to the web. Since I am, and my dsl pipe is only half
full, I see no reason why other than possibly a firewall problem, but
its set to let anything back in that I originated so I don't see that
as a problem.

But just to check, what protocol and local port does this wizard expect
to be able to use for this?

Cheers, Gene
People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too. :-)
