I've created labels in OOo using data in a database (OOo spreadsheet),
including Postnet bar codes (subject of yesterday's question). Works
great up to the point of adding record data to the fields in the labels.
This is a small database, only 34 records, I'm using just to learn how
to do this in OOo. The labels I've created are Avery 5160 3X10 labels,
so one sheet of labels contains 30 records. I [Synchronize Labels] and a
page full of labels is magically created. I then select all 34 records,
as described in Help and the documentation, then click on [Data to
Fields]. I get 30 address labels filled with data - not the 34 that I need.
The problem, I guess, is how to create a second page of labels
containing data fields before I add the record data.
I've tried and tried again, even read everything in the Help system
about labels from databases as well as the OOo User Documentation for
Using MailMerge, and have recreated the labels several times. I cannot
figure out how to get a second sheet with additional labels to magically
appear so that all 34 records are displayed (this would take one sheet
of labels and four labels on the second sheet).
As usual, I really appreciate your help.
Maybe my tutorial would help?
