  I am a new user of open office, and not being a computer expert anyway, I am 
trying to find my way around.  I have been using the word processor for a short 
time and it has been fine.  My query is regarding the option under the tools 
bar where ther is the facility of auto correct which I have found very useful, 
but all of a sudden it has stopped working and no longer corrects as it once 
did, i have looked in under formatting and it is ticked to apply while writing, 
but it doesn't.  All i can think of is that I recently changed the default of 
the document file type from open office document to microsoft word/xp so that 
my attachments were easily opened when sending emails, but i dont know why this 
should have affected the working of the word processor functions, if anyone is 
able to help i would be much appreciative.
