     If you are meaning what you see in this file:
http://www.delewis.com/OOo/sample.odt, then the answer is yes. What I did 
was to create the text, open the Drawing Toolbar, and put a rectangle 
around the words. I right click the rectangle and selected Area from the 
context menu. Then I selected No Fill and clicked OK. I again right 
clicked the rectangle and selected Line from the context menu. I increased 
the width of the line from 0.00 to 0.05 and clicked OK.
