Okay - I'm now doing this merge with another document. Again, I have a set of address fields, some of which are blank. When showing the field names, this is what I see: recruiters.10.05.2006.Sheet1.last_nameHiddenParagraph If I right-click on the HiddenParagraph field and look at the Field properties, I see a field type of "HiddenParagraph", and in the Condition field, this text: ![recruiters.10.05.2006.Sheet1.last_name] I have the "Hidden Paragraphs" option *unchecked* in the View menu. Yet, when I do the Mail Merge from the Tools menu, the resulting output has blank lines for all records where the last_name field is blank. The desired effect is that the paragraph should not even be there if the field is blank. I'm following instructions. What's wrong here?
