What's the best format to export from Adobe Illustrator for use with OpenOffice Draw? Draw doesn't support *.ai.
It claims to support EPS, but a graphic designer delivered an EPS file to me. When I opened it in Draw, all I saw was some metadata about the image - that it came from Adobe CS2, etc. Are there options in Illustrator a person has to select when exporting to EPS for Draw to read the file properly? Conversely, if I am sending an illustration from Draw to someone using Adobe Illustrator CS2, what format / options in Draw should I use for exporting? Are there serious issues with Illustrator <> Draw collaboration? Also, are there are good books out there on OO Draw? Illustrator just seems so more capable than Draw - of course Illustrator's existed for a decade or longer... I'm trying to convert 100% to all Open Source apps, and this includes graphic design. However, I'm using Windows as a platform. Anyone know if GIMP is supported on Windows so I can have a Photoshop replacement as well? Thanks very much. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
