I am not a proficient text user; I use spreadsheets 99% of my time, not Text documents. My personal letterhead format (probably converted from MS Word) has a default footer including the filename & current date. This date displays in U.S. numeric format MM/DD/YY, even though I have specified English (Australian) in the Tools/Options/Language setting. I would prefer this & all dates to be DD/MMM/YYYY or at least show the day before the month in whatever format it chooses. I do not understand how to invoke the 'modifier in front of the date format' as instructed in the relevant Help entry to achieve this. Can someone help me, please.
