That's pretty funny. I went to /opt/openoffice.org2.0/program to look
for what the "Start -> Control Panel" invocation might be targeting. Of
course Solaris doesn't have a Start -> Control Panel :)
But I did finally get all of the programs installed in my fvwm menu
system, so I can access them at a click!

You are using the wrong tool. Use Start > Control Panel > Fonts
OOo will recognize them at next start.
