1.  A waste of time.
2.  Fruitless.

We have found that posters can and will post from GMANE (all of the lists are
echoed there) and expect replies to be sent directly to them.

Thus, I was able to confirm through PM with the OP that the problem is
fixed in a newer release of OpenOffice and that the problem is specific
to her operating system and with the version of OpenOffice.org she is using
this functionality does not work.

And your KEEP THE MESSAGES ON THE LIST is also a massive waste of
bandwidth.  Please stop.
